NJDC Calls for Withdrawal of Palin Invitation to Iran Rally
Monday's protest against Ahmadinejad is too important to be tainted by
partisanship. Unfortunately, the campaign of Senator John McCain is
much more interested in scoring political points than insuring there
is bipartisan solidarity around the anti-Ahmadinejad efforts.
Therefore, we call upon the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish
Organizations to withdraw the invitation to Governor Sarah Palin and
we applaud Senator Hillary Clinton's decision to not attend the rally
after the attendance of Palin was announced.
By withdrawing Palin's invitation, the Conference of Presidents of
Major Jewish Organizations will be able to return the focus to
America's outrage towards the genocidal musings and nuclear ambitions
of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

McCain Ad arouses NY Times ire
When disgust meets outraWhen disgust meets outrage, what do you have? You have me, having just read the
NY Times report that McCain's ads are accusing Barack Obama of urging "sex
before reading" – "comprehensive sex
education for kindergartners." What Obama really voted for was a bill to
provide carefully modulated K-12 sex education, with kindergartners taught how
to deal with adults who touch them inappropriately.
(If you can't believe that any Presidential candidate would stoop so low into the
toilet of attack, read
this New York Times article.
The moderate Times has increasingly called the McCain
ads for their distortions: this article was titled: “Ad on Sex Education
Distorts Obama Policy”
Such an ad is vile, disgusting. In the guise of morality, it is destroying
morality. In the guise of affirming sexual decency, it is attacking a decent
candidate's effort to protect children from sexual predators.
This is morality? God forbid!! I mean it, God forbid!! -- God did forbid.
OK, what do we do? We need to help God out, and do our own forbidding.
Jews need not leave holy and compassionate anger to those who would suppress
Jewish practice.

Republican Jewish Coalition Defame Obama
The Republican Jewish Coalition is acting maliciously and shamelessly with this
push poll that seeks to defame Barack Obama. These types of deceitful tactics
fit perfectly with the swiftboat style Republican attacks we've seen throughout
this campaign. John McCain needs to denounce this poll and distance himself from
the lies and distortions that are being used to scare Jewish voters. Every day
he fails to do so he just adds to the insult of his operatives trying to scare
people into voting for him. Support for Israel needs to be a non-partisan issue.
Senator Obama, throughout his political career, has a long record of steadfast
support for the special relationship between the United States and Israel. It's
bad enough that John McCain only offers four more years of George Bush's failed
policies, but it is now apparent that is also offering four more years of George
Bush's divisive politics.

McCain Will Lead
John McCain’s leadership qualities are needed to steer this country through difficult economic times and threats to our national security.
McCain can be trusted to lead us because he has been vetted. As a naval officer of 22 years and with 26 years in Congress he has the executive experience to administer our government and accomplish our domestic and international objectives.
Obama has not been vetted. He has no executive experience and has been a member of Congress for four years, and has only a few accomplishments during his time in the Senate. He is a featherweight when we need a heavyweight. I believe he has not been around long enough to have a detailed background investigation, which is required for a President to get a Top Secret security clearance.
